Ambassador H.Hayret Yalav

Ambassador (retired) H.Hayret Yalav is a retired diplomat who served as ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Argentina (accreditation also to Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia) and to Latvia. Throughout his forty years of service, Ambassador Yalav has held the positions as a Political officer in Iraq and Germany, Consul General in Los Angeles, Deputy Chief of Mission in Berlin, Director of Plans & Policy- National Security Staff, Deputy Director of Protocol, Director General for Political Affairs / Eurasia and the Far East. Ambassador Yalav is a graduate of Bogazici University in Istanbul and a fellow of Royal College for Defence Studies in London. He is married with two children.
