Mr. Jon Paton-Smith

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & SENIOR ADVISOR

Mr. Paton-Smith has over 25 years of successful international finance and strategy experience and has lived and worked in the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Prior to joining The Taffrail Group he spent 15 years with Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE), the world’s largest soft drink bottler, where he was responsible for corporate strategy & development. During his time at CCE he oversaw large and small transactions, including the complex three-way cross-border merger to create Coca-Cola European Partners plc.  Additionally, while at CCE Jon held a variety of financial leadership positions, including CFO of Coca-Cola Bottling Canada, and VP of Capital Planning with responsibility for stewarding >$1B annual capital budget.

Jon also has an extensive consulting background.  He has worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company where he developed growth strategies and led operational improvement initiatives for clients in consumer products, retail, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.  He also served as an international sales and marketing consultant in the hospitality and service industry.

He holds a BSc with Honours in Economics from The London School of Economics & Political Science.  He also received a Master in Business Administration from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Paton-Smith holds dual UK and US citizenship, and lives in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters.
