Senior Advisor

Following a long and successful career in industry, for the last decade Jerry has served as a senior advisor/board member to a number of leading organizations in both the private and public sector. In addition to his strategic advisory role at Taffrail, Jerry serves as Managing Advisor of our Executive Search practice. Recent searches for Taffrail’s clients include CEO Americas, Executive Vice-President Sales, and Senior Vice President of Operations roles.

Jerry began his executive search career as a principal in the Atlanta office of Egon Zehnder International, one of the leading global executive search firms. He led their USA consumer practice conducting over 50 searches for CEOs, Presidents, COOs and senior executives in Marketing/Sales across a broad selection of industry sectors for some of the top global companies in the world.

Jerry’s industry experience included several roles in marketing, business development and general management at The Coca-Cola Company including service as an International Division Vice-President. Among other activities, he was the original Brand Manager for the launch of Diet Coke, the “most successful new consumer brand of the 80’s” per AdAge, oversaw the re-launch of Minute Maid juices in post-apartheid South Africa after a 10 year absence and served as General Manager of Coca-Cola Foods International.

Jerry also served as President of the Far East for The Campbell Soup Company where he was responsible for all company operations in the region including a joint venture in Japan and for re-launching the brand in Mainland China after a 35 year absence. He later served AFC Enterprises, a publicly-traded Franchisor, as a Division Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw the creation of the International Divisions of both Cinnabon and Seattle's Best Coffee which he grew to 400 franchised units in 30 countries.

Jerry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received the highest leadership/academic honor and also received an MBA from Harvard University.
